There's an exhibition o picters o Saturn, taken by the Cassini-Huygens spacecraft, at the National Maritime Museum at Greenwich in that London for the next couple o months.

Brill find Neil. Braw pitchurs an isny Titan fascinatin?

One of my brothers is a keen amateur astronomer an he spread ra affliction tae us. Ah mind weel when he got his first serious telescope. Saturn wis ra planet we chose tae study wi it and ah still mind feeling aw giddy wi excitement when ah got my first good look.

We huv a telescope here annaw. Wur far enuff ooty ra city fur thur tae be verra little light pollution an ah've got Wee Davy an Jay as hooked on stargazin as ahmur.

Check oot Cassini central imaging. Best tae use the search page. Jist pit in 'Saturn' or 'Titan' tae start wi and sit back amazed. These pictures ur fae a billion miles away.

And on Women's Hour oan the beeb the day...

Aye, I heard that interview. She was great. I believed her when she said she gets the same thrills out of seeing the images as the the layman.

As usual with WH and science tho, some pretty bloody stupid questions. Evil or Very Mad

Science on BBC wireless is pretty woeful.. but even at that, there's a big gap  between WH presenters and any other radio presenters when it comes to 'Science'....!   Evil or Very Mad
