Inernet Explorer is, I am forced to conclude, a load ae shite. It's drivin' me mental.

If I download Firefox 3.5, what else will I hae tae dae? Whit Ah'm meaning here is, Ah'm no very tecknaykul mindit. Things either w**k or they dinnae. Ah wance rammed mah fit intae the dashboard o' a car whit wuildnae start and also bruised mah nukkles dissyplinnin' a FAX machine.
So please make yer answers simple.

Whit changes will I see when I've downloaded Firefox.
Whit else hus tae be dun.
Dae Ah have tae kill IE and if so how?

Zoom Toolbar - tempry fix cos NoSquint disny currently W*** wi 3.5

Ah love Firefox an several times over ra years ah tried thir email whitset, thunderburd; ah kuidnae weirk ut atall.

My answer was tae do all ra email online at Yahoo.  My IP bastits, sold our mail to Yahoo.
I have endless storage with them, if the bluidy 'pooter karks it, I still have all my email sitting on Yahoo waiting for me to get oop & running again.

Yahoo never tell you your email box is full. Cool

Ah kin prolly help yese thur Fey, ah've bin usin Thunderbird fur years an ah've aboot got ra hing o it noo. As ah recall, Yahoo's ain instructions fur settin it up wis pretty guid though. Wan thing ye need tae pey attenshun tae wance ye get ra initial set up done is ra pop 'port' settings. Ra default is 110, but ah think Yahoo uses 995 an it willna W*** till ye change that. Same fur Hotmail an Google Mail.

Googlemail for me. All my W*** email, running on Outlook, gets sent to my googlemail account as backup, and I am now in the position where I'm using both equally.

Outlook mail I can file away into neat tidy folders. But if I need to find something in a hurry and know it could theoretically be in several places in Outlook, I just fling the search terms into the googlemail account - bingo, there it is, date, time, which Outlook folder it's in.

I like Googlemail.

I've been usin Outlook for years and never had a problem with it. It does all I need it as an email programme to do - although I've certainly never had the time or inclination to get to grips with the doubtles millions of extra bells & whistles that it can do (which no doubt would end up with me hatin the damn thing)

For some reason (maist likely aa the shite ma employer shovels ontae their compuchter) Firefox huz been affa slow on this machine lately. Ah've finally bitten the bullet an installed Google Chrome and, sae faur, it's gaen jist fine. Nae mair freezin up like Firefox huz been daen, an naen o IE's shite neither.
