The time is ripe, indeed, for a Scotland party.

I am SO scunnered with what has happened to politics - and to the electorate - in this country.

Questions:
What would this Scotland Party stand for, or indeed against?
What would be it's aims and objectives?
How might you wean the generality of Scots away from their old loyalty to the Labour Party (long dead though it is)*?
* I'm still reeling from the fact that enough of us voted SNP last time to put them power (sort of). I reckon it was probably a one time wonder aimed at slapping Labour in the face and maybe waking them up. It's failed of course, and it will be fascinating to see what voters do next.

Of course? That's hardly fair. It wisnae the party's fault that it was hobbled from the start, was it?

I think what happens next is obvious. The big ba' is rollin, and it's no for bein stopped.

Embarassed

oops, sorry! Read ye wrang.

I have been astonished at the vehemence with which some of the blin locally are still clingin onto 'Labour'.

It used to be funny. Now it's just....downright bizarre, to say the least.

If I understand correctly, she feels that, since she always leapt to Broon's defence whenever he got into difficulties while behaving honestly, he should have leapt to her defence when she goat inta difficulties while behaving dishonsestly.
