Embdy ever read this?

I just got it out of the library and it is an absolutely superb read. Neil's always excellent, but this is just brilliant.

Auld Sandy, Queenie the auld collie, the croft, the cow!, the hills, the light, the loch and the young boy and the young lassie. And the dark deed.

Evocative, delicious, rich writing. Joyous, breathtaking and peacebringing. Scotland and Scottish, through and through. Best writing I've read in a long time; balm for the brain.

ps: hello all, and good luck.

Onward!

Nothing!  just smile modestly & look nonchalant. Wink & mutter something about a new road.
